H.R. No. 1103
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Nick Hermandorfer and Tyler Bambrick have added to
the richness and vitality of the Katy economy by opening a new
location of their business, Home Run Dugout; and
WHEREAS, An entertainment venue featuring a sports bar,
restaurant, and soft-toss baseball, Home Run Dugout opened its
first location at Dell Diamond in Round Rock in 2019; since that
time, the business has become a popular destination with fun
activities for all ages; and
WHEREAS, Home Run Dugout's new location in Katy spans 46,000
square feet and serves as a full-scale standalone venue with 12
indoor batting bays, where an augmented reality experience can
simulate a hit in any Major League Baseball stadium; the facility
also features an outdoor mini-field and biergarten, a concert
stage, three bars, and a full-service restaurant offering
ballpark-inspired fare; and
WHEREAS, The well-being of the citizens of Texas depends on
economic strength throughout the state, and businesses that employ
Texans and contribute to local communities are important components
of a prosperous future; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commemorate the opening of the Home Run Dugout
location in Katy and extend to Nick Hermandorfer and Tyler Bambrick
and their staff sincere best wishes for success in their new
endeavor.
