| 7 | 7 | | Schools of North Texas 2023 Elementary Student of the Year; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Communities In Schools is a nationwide organization |

| 9 | 9 | | committed to ensuring that all students, regardless of race, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | gender, ability, residence, or socioeconomic background, are given |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | the resources they need to realize their full potential; the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | organization provides schools with trained local coordinators who |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | offer individualized support to help students succeed academically |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | and to keep them on a path toward graduation; and |

| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Elijah Scheideman has been in the Communities In |

| 16 | 16 | | Schools program at Clara Love Elementary since he was in the second |

| 17 | 17 | | grade, and with the support of his CIS site coordinator, Alexa |

| 20 | 20 | | countless students like Elijah Scheideman build confidence, |

| 22 | 22 | | is a pleasure to join in recognizing Eli for his hard work and |
