| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Joy and Greg Booth are celebrating the fifth |

| 6 | 6 | | anniversary of their establishment, E. J. Wills Gastropub in |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, After launching the business in Dallas, the couple |

| 9 | 9 | | relocated it to McKinney in 2018 to provide another option for |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | residents of the city's west side; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Booth have strived to make E. J. Wills |

| 12 | 12 | | a neighborly, comfortable gathering place for all; the restaurant |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | hosts spirit nights for local organizations, as well as fundraisers |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | with guest bartenders from area charities, and patrons can often |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | enjoy live music and trivia events; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Businesses that employ Texans and contribute to the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | local economy are important components of a prosperous future, and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Joy and Greg Booth are deserving of recognition for the positive |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | role their establishment plays in the McKinney community; now, |

| 20 | 20 | | therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
