H.R. No. 1229
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Joy and Greg Booth are celebrating the fifth
anniversary of their establishment, E. J. Wills Gastropub in
McKinney; and
WHEREAS, After launching the business in Dallas, the couple
relocated it to McKinney in 2018 to provide another option for
residents of the city's west side; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Booth have strived to make E. J. Wills
a neighborly, comfortable gathering place for all; the restaurant
hosts spirit nights for local organizations, as well as fundraisers
with guest bartenders from area charities, and patrons can often
enjoy live music and trivia events; and
WHEREAS, Businesses that employ Texans and contribute to the
local economy are important components of a prosperous future, and
Joy and Greg Booth are deserving of recognition for the positive
role their establishment plays in the McKinney community; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Joy and Greg Booth on the fifth
anniversary of E. J. Wills Gastropub in McKinney and extend to them
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the Booths as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
