| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends suffered an immeasurable loss |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | with the passing of Danica Summer Kaprosy of Selma on July 20, 2022, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | at the age of 17; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born in San Antonio on June 21, 2005, to Daniel and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Veronica Kaprosy, Danica Kaprosy grew up with the companionship of |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | a sister, Sydney; she was a senior at Veterans Memorial High School, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and outside of class, she was employed as a hostess at Garcia's |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Mexican Restaurant; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Danica was beloved by all who knew her, and she |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | cherished the time she spent with her family, as well as her |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | boyfriend, Matt Solis, and her best friend, Cameron Moncivaiz; she |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | was passionate about music and enjoyed playing the piano and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | violin; her creative interests also included painting and drawing, |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and she was fond of swimming and displaying her skills on the |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | volleyball court with her classmates, friends, and family; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Although she is deeply missed, Danica Kaprosy |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | touched the lives of everyone around her in ways beyond measure, and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | they will forever carry her memory close in their hearts; now, |

| 23 | 23 | | therefore, be it |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Danica Summer Kaprosy |
