| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Robinson Edward Smith |

| 6 | 6 | | of Hutto were deeply saddened by his death on March 23, 2022, at the |

| 7 | 7 | | age of 44; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The son of Kathleen Steinborn and Edward Smith, Rob |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Smith was born on April 18, 1977; his treasured family included his |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | grandparents, Robert and Phyllis Pollitt and Willie and Cordelia |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Smith, who preceded him in death, and he also benefited from the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | love and support of numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; he was the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | proud father of two sons, Liam and Finley; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, In his leisure hours, Mr. Smith enjoyed cooking, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | listening to music, and spending time with loved ones; he was |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | admired by all who knew him for his caring nature and his devotion |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | to his family; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, While his loss is difficult to bear, Rob Smith lived |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | a rich and purposeful life, and he will forever hold a special place |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | in the hearts of those he leaves behind; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Robinson Edward |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Smith and extend heartfelt sympathy to his family and many friends; |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | and, be it further |

| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
