H.R. No. 1329
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, All who shared in the life of Robinson Edward Smith
of Hutto were deeply saddened by his death on March 23, 2022, at the
age of 44; and
WHEREAS, The son of Kathleen Steinborn and Edward Smith, Rob
Smith was born on April 18, 1977; his treasured family included his
grandparents, Robert and Phyllis Pollitt and Willie and Cordelia
Smith, who preceded him in death, and he also benefited from the
love and support of numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; he was the
proud father of two sons, Liam and Finley; and
WHEREAS, In his leisure hours, Mr. Smith enjoyed cooking,
listening to music, and spending time with loved ones; he was
admired by all who knew him for his caring nature and his devotion
to his family; and
WHEREAS, While his loss is difficult to bear, Rob Smith lived
a rich and purposeful life, and he will forever hold a special place
in the hearts of those he leaves behind; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Robinson Edward
Smith and extend heartfelt sympathy to his family and many friends;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Rob Smith.
