R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Tint-on-Wheels in McAllen is marking the 25th
anniversary of its founding in 2023; and
WHEREAS, Tint-on-Wheels was established on June 15, 1998, as
a home-based business; the company went on to operate from rented
facilities until 2020, when it purchased the Plaza on 2nd Street;
and
WHEREAS, Under the ownership of David Padilla,
Tint-on-Wheels serves individuals and businesses in the Rio Grande
Valley; the company provides window-tinting services for
automobiles, RVs, homes, and offices, and it also offers a variety
of specialty services to meet the unique needs of its clients; and
WHEREAS, Locally owned and operated businesses contribute to
the economic prosperity of the Lone Star State, and those
enterprises that build a record of dependability and longevity
enjoy a special degree of esteem in their communities; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby honor Tint-on-Wheels in McAllen on the occasion
of its 25th anniversary and extend to David Padilla and his staff
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the company as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
