| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The Schools Transforming Learning (STL) designation |

| 9 | 9 | | program is facilitated by the N2 Learning Principals' Institute |

| 10 | 10 | | (PI), and each year, it recognizes and honors campuses led by |

| 11 | 11 | | current or former PI participants who are making exceptional |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | strides on their journey to provide innovative learning |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | opportunities; and |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, McKinney High is among an elite group of schools to |

| 15 | 15 | | receive the designation since the STL program's establishment in |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | the 2016-2017 school year; and |

| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Under the leadership of principal Shelly Spaulding, |

| 18 | 18 | | McKinney High School has demonstrated an impressive commitment to |

| 19 | 19 | | providing its students with a strong foundation on which to build, |

| 20 | 20 | | and this prestigious honor is a testament to the skill and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | professionalism of the faculty, staff, and administration; now, |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature hereby congratulate McKinney High School on its receipt |
