H.R. No. 1360
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, McKinney High School in the McKinney Independent
School District has received the Schools Transforming Learning
designation from N2 Learning; and
WHEREAS, The Schools Transforming Learning (STL) designation
program is facilitated by the N2 Learning Principals' Institute
(PI), and each year, it recognizes and honors campuses led by
current or former PI participants who are making exceptional
strides on their journey to provide innovative learning
opportunities; and
WHEREAS, McKinney High is among an elite group of schools to
receive the designation since the STL program's establishment in
the 2016-2017 school year; and
WHEREAS, Under the leadership of principal Shelly Spaulding,
McKinney High School has demonstrated an impressive commitment to
providing its students with a strong foundation on which to build,
and this prestigious honor is a testament to the skill and
professionalism of the faculty, staff, and administration; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate McKinney High School on its receipt
of the Schools Transforming Learning designation from N2 Learning
and extend to all those associated with the campus sincere best
wishes for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the school as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
