| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Julia Ramirez of Rosenberg Elementary School |

| 6 | 6 | | has been named E3 Employee of the Month by the Galveston Independent |

| 7 | 7 | | School District; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Ramirez first joined Galveston ISD in 2014, and |

| 9 | 9 | | she currently serves as principal of Rosenberg Elementary; she |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | enjoys collaborating with staff, students, and parents to create a |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | supportive environment on campus; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, A native of Houston, Dr. Ramirez holds a bachelor's |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | degree from the University of Houston and a master's degree from |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Stephen F. Austin State University, and she earned a doctorate at |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Lamar University; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, With her outstanding leadership, compassion, and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | commitment to excellence, Julia Ramirez has earned the respect and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | admiration of her colleagues, and she is indeed deserving of this |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | notable honor; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 21 | 21 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Julia Ramirez on being named E3 |
