 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Dr. Sheryse Desiree Mobley has been named a
 recipient of a 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award by the Killeen
 Independent School District Alumni Association; and
 WHEREAS, Each year, the alumni association recognizes
 Killeen ISD graduates who have contributed significantly to their
 communities or professions and who serve as inspiring role models
 for future generations; and
 WHEREAS, A 2011 graduate of Killeen High School, Dr. Sheryse
 Mobley earned an undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University
 and a doctorate in podiatric medicine from Kent State University;
 she was subsequently commissioned into the United States Air Force
 and went on to complete a three-year podiatric surgery residency
 with Baltimore Veterans Affairs and Sinai Hospital of Baltimore
 Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics; along the way, she was
 promoted to the rank of captain; she is currently stationed at Joint
 Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, as a staff
 podiatric foot and ankle surgeon; and
 WHEREAS, The accomplishments of noteworthy alumni are a
 source of great pride to all those associated with Killeen ISD, and
 Dr. Sheryse Mobley is indeed deserving of this prestigious honor;
 now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Sheryse Desiree Mobley on her
 receipt of a 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Killeen
 Independent School District Alumni Association and extend to her
 sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Dr. Mobley as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
