| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Mid Chambers Christian Caring Center has been |

| 6 | 6 | | recognized by the Anahuac Area Chamber of Commerce as its Member of |

| 7 | 7 | | the Month for May 2023; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Run exclusively by volunteers, the Mid Chambers |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Christian Caring Center serves residents of Anahuac and Chambers |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | County through a variety of community initiatives; among its many |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | contributions, the nonprofit has helped feed individuals facing |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | food insecurity with its food pantry program, and it has |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | distributed more than $15,000 in scholarships to students in the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Anahuac Independent School District; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The Mid Chambers Christian Caring Center has made a |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | positive difference in the lives of numerous people in Anahuac and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | beyond, and the organization is indeed deserving of recognition for |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | its commendable efforts; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Legislature hereby congratulate the Mid Chambers Christian Caring |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Center on being named the Anahuac Area Chamber of Commerce Member of |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | the Month for May 2023 and extend to all those associated with the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | organization sincere best wishes for continued success with their |
