R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Mid Chambers Christian Caring Center has been
recognized by the Anahuac Area Chamber of Commerce as its Member of
the Month for May 2023; and
WHEREAS, Run exclusively by volunteers, the Mid Chambers
Christian Caring Center serves residents of Anahuac and Chambers
County through a variety of community initiatives; among its many
contributions, the nonprofit has helped feed individuals facing
food insecurity with its food pantry program, and it has
distributed more than $15,000 in scholarships to students in the
Anahuac Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, The Mid Chambers Christian Caring Center has made a
positive difference in the lives of numerous people in Anahuac and
beyond, and the organization is indeed deserving of recognition for
its commendable efforts; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate the Mid Chambers Christian Caring
Center on being named the Anahuac Area Chamber of Commerce Member of
the Month for May 2023 and extend to all those associated with the
organization sincere best wishes for continued success with their
important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the center as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
