| 10 | 10 | | Myers Stadium in Austin on May 11, Ms. Bendet turned in an |

| 11 | 11 | | exceptional performance; in the 1,600-meter race, she recorded a |

| 12 | 12 | | time of 5 minutes, 7.56 seconds, to claim the title, and she |

| 13 | 13 | | collected a second gold medal in the 800-meter event, crossing the |

| 14 | 14 | | finish line with a time of 2:16.01; she further contributed to |

| 15 | 15 | | Randolph High's superb showing at the meet as a member of the |

| 16 | 16 | | school's 1,600-meter relay team, which placed third with a time of |

| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for |

| 19 | 19 | | high school track and field athletes, Sophia Bendet has ably |
