44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, The passing of Glenda Marie Lehnhoff of Universal
66 City on April 22, 2023, at the age of 68, brought a great loss to her
77 family, her friends, and the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City
88 Independent School District community; and
99 WHEREAS, The daughter of Dorothy Roberson and Weldon Alvis
1010 "Butch" Roberson, the former Glenda Roberson was born in Devine on
1111 May 1, 1954; she grew up with four brothers, Russell, Gary, Mark,
1212 and Mickey, and a sister, Margaret; after graduating from Devine
1313 High School, she went on to complete her bachelor's degree at Texas
1414 A&M University; she was employed as a research lab assistant at The
1515 University of Texas Health Science Center; and
1616 WHEREAS, She married Robert Lehnhoff on February 17, 1979,
1717 and they were blessed with a son, Scott, and a daughter, Robin; once
1818 her children were in school, Mrs. Lehnhoff joined the
1919 Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District as a
2020 computer instructional aide at Rose Garden Elementary School; she
2121 went on to serve as the athletic secretary, and over the course of
2222 two decades in that role, she and her husband, an acclaimed coach,
2323 worked together to mentor students and develop successful sports
2424 teams; the district recognized their outstanding contributions by
2525 naming its athletic facility the Robert & Glenda Lehnhoff Stadium;
2626 and
2727 WHEREAS, Following her retirement, Mrs. Lehnhoff embraced
2828 the role of full-time grandmother to Landri, Rex, Ty, Ethan, and
2929 Avery; she was also a very active member of Madison Hills Baptist
3030 Church; and
3131 WHEREAS, Glenda Lehnhoff touched many lives through her
3232 warmth and kindness, and her devotion to her family, her faith, and
3333 her community will remain a lasting source of inspiration to all who
3434 were privileged to know her; now, therefore, be it
3535 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
3636 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Glenda Marie
3737 Roberson Lehnhoff and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her
3838 family: to her husband, Robert Lehnhoff; to her children, Scott
3939 Lehnhoff and his wife, Megan, and Robin Buck and her husband,
4040 Daniel; to her grandchildren, Landri Lehnhoff, Rex Lehnhoff, Ty
4141 Lehnhoff, Ethan Buck, and Avery Buck; to her siblings, Russell
4242 Roberson and his wife, Janet, Gary Roberson and his wife, Deb, Mark
4343 Roberson and his wife, Kim, Mickey Roberson and his wife, Kathy, and
4444 Margaret Doubrava and her husband, Robert; to her brother-in-law,
4545 Ernst; and to her many other relatives and friends; and, be it

4747 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
4848 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
4949 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Glenda
5050 Marie Lehnhoff.
