 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Patricia Ann Vasquez of San Antonio has devoted her
 life to empowering minority communities to break the cycle of
 generational poverty; and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Vasquez currently serves on the board for Ignite
 Community Solutions, which offers evidence-based, trauma-informed
 approaches to equip youth and adults with the psychological,
 social, and practical tools they need to improve their lives; the
 organization's initiatives include the ClearPath program as well as
 other community resources and learning opportunities; and
 WHEREAS, Through her work with ICS, Ms. Vasquez has played an
 instrumental role in promoting youth development, helping
 ex-offenders reenter society, assisting individuals in substance
 abuse recovery, and addressing unemployment and underemployment;
 in addition, her efforts have helped ICS obtain recognition from
 the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Choice
 Neighborhoods program; and
 WHEREAS, Admired for her compassionate nature and visionary
 leadership, Patricia Ann Vasquez has made a positive and meaningful
 difference in the lives of countless Texans, and she is indeed
 deserving of special recognition for her many contributions; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature hereby honor Patricia Ann Vasquez for her service to
 Ignite Community Solutions and extend to her sincere best wishes
 for the future; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Vasquez as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
