5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Officer Peter Fodor is retiring from the Flower |

6 | 6 | | Mound Police Department on May 19, 2023, concluding an exemplary |

7 | 7 | | career in public service that has spanned two decades; and |

8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the Flower Mound Police Department on |

9 | 9 | | May 19, 2003, Officer Fodor has gone above and beyond to help ensure |
---|
10 | 10 | | the safety and well-being of area residents; among his many |
---|
11 | 11 | | achievements, he has received a number of internal and external |
---|
12 | 12 | | commendations, and he was presented with a Police Commendation in |
---|
13 | 13 | | recognition of his courageous actions during an officer-involved |
---|
14 | 14 | | shooting incident in 2021; he holds intermediate and advanced peace |
---|
15 | 15 | | officer proficiency certificates; and |
---|
16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Peter Fodor has greatly benefited the citizens of |
---|
17 | 17 | | Flower Mound through his skill, integrity, and commitment to public |
---|
18 | 18 | | safety, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his contributions as |
---|
19 | 19 | | he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his life; now, therefore, |

21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

22 | 22 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Officer Peter Fodor on his |

23 | 23 | | retirement from the Flower Mound Police Department and extend to |

24 | 24 | | him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
