H.R. No. 2196
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Officer Peter Fodor is retiring from the Flower
Mound Police Department on May 19, 2023, concluding an exemplary
career in public service that has spanned two decades; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the Flower Mound Police Department on
May 19, 2003, Officer Fodor has gone above and beyond to help ensure
the safety and well-being of area residents; among his many
achievements, he has received a number of internal and external
commendations, and he was presented with a Police Commendation in
recognition of his courageous actions during an officer-involved
shooting incident in 2021; he holds intermediate and advanced peace
officer proficiency certificates; and
WHEREAS, Peter Fodor has greatly benefited the citizens of
Flower Mound through his skill, integrity, and commitment to public
safety, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his contributions as
he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his life; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Officer Peter Fodor on his
retirement from the Flower Mound Police Department and extend to
him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Officer Fodor as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
