H.R. No. 2201
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Azul Martinez has distinguished herself in her
responsibilities as a policy aide in the office of State
Representative Claudia Ordaz during the 88th Legislative Session;
and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Martinez has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
including contributing to bills relating to animal welfare and
environmental regulation; in addition to gaining valuable
experience in the field of public service, she has learned more
about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the
Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, A constituent of House District 79, Ms. Martinez
graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2022; she
previously worked as a paralegal, and she served as an intern for an
El Paso County commissioner; recently, she released two singles
entitled "Golden" and "Instrumental Blues"; and
WHEREAS, Azul Martinez has performed her duties as a policy
aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of
special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Azul Martinez for her service as a
policy aide in the office of State Representative Claudia Ordaz and
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her
endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Martinez as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
