| 10 | 10 | | Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 11, Mr. Ortiz turned |

| 11 | 11 | | in a notable performance, claiming second place with a time of 48.10 |

| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Ortiz is also a wide receiver for the Dumas High |

| 14 | 14 | | School football team, and he has signed a letter of intent to play |

| 15 | 15 | | for the University of Northern Colorado; in recognition of his |

| 16 | 16 | | accomplishments, he was named the Best All-Around Boy Athlete and |

| 17 | 17 | | the Track MVP for 2023 by the Dumas Independent School District; and |

| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for |

| 19 | 19 | | high school track and field athletes, Oliver Ortiz has ably |

| 20 | 20 | | represented his school and community, and he will cherish his |

| 21 | 21 | | memories of this outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
