| 10 | 10 | | Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 12, Ms. Murray |

| 11 | 11 | | turned in a notable performance; demonstrating tremendous resolve, |

| 12 | 12 | | she delivered her best throw on her final try, clinching a |

| 13 | 13 | | third-place finish with an effort of 16 feet, 0.25 inches; and |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A senior at Tascosa High, Ms. Murray enjoyed great |

| 15 | 15 | | success during the 2023 season, her inaugural year of competing in |

| 16 | 16 | | the shot put; she became the first student-athlete from the |

| 17 | 17 | | Amarillo Independent School District to participate in the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | wheelchair division at the state meet and the first to earn a medal; |

| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for |

| 21 | 21 | | high school track and field athletes, Kendra Murray has ably |

| 22 | 22 | | represented her school and community, and she will cherish her |

| 23 | 23 | | memories of this outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, |

| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
