| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends suffered an immeasurable loss |

| 6 | 6 | | with the tragic passing of Garrett Blake Ingram of College Station |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | on December 31, 2022, at the age of 18; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born in Temple on April 14, 2004, Garrett Ingram was |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | the cherished son of Mandy Wells and the late Shane Ingram; he |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | enjoyed the companionship of two siblings, Madison and Jake, and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | his family also included his stepfather, Chip Wells, his |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | grandparents, his aunts and uncles, and his cousin Chase, who was |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | more like a brother; Mr. Ingram graduated from Bryan High School in |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | 2022, and he had taken on rewarding work as a maintenance technician |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | at Americase Fabrication and Construction in Ennis; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Whether on the job or with loved ones, Mr. Ingram |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | exuded joy and kindness; fiercely loyal to his many friends, he |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | never met a stranger, and he was known for his quick wit, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | self-deprecating humor, and infectious laugh, as well as a smile |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | that could light up any room; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, No words can diminish the pain caused by a life cut |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | short, but all who shared in the love and friendship of Garrett |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Ingram may find comfort in their treasured memories of this |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | exceptional young man; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Garrett Blake |

| 27 | 27 | | Ingram and extend deepest condolences to the members of his family: |
