H.R. No. 321 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Family and friends suffered an immeasurable loss with the tragic passing of Garrett Blake Ingram of College Station on December 31, 2022, at the age of 18; and WHEREAS, Born in Temple on April 14, 2004, Garrett Ingram was the cherished son of Mandy Wells and the late Shane Ingram; he enjoyed the companionship of two siblings, Madison and Jake, and his family also included his stepfather, Chip Wells, his grandparents, his aunts and uncles, and his cousin Chase, who was more like a brother; Mr. Ingram graduated from Bryan High School in 2022, and he had taken on rewarding work as a maintenance technician at Americase Fabrication and Construction in Ennis; and WHEREAS, Whether on the job or with loved ones, Mr. Ingram exuded joy and kindness; fiercely loyal to his many friends, he never met a stranger, and he was known for his quick wit, self-deprecating humor, and infectious laugh, as well as a smile that could light up any room; and WHEREAS, No words can diminish the pain caused by a life cut short, but all who shared in the love and friendship of Garrett Ingram may find comfort in their treasured memories of this exceptional young man; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Garrett Blake Ingram and extend deepest condolences to the members of his family: to his mother, Mandy Wells; to his sister, Madison Ingram; to his brother, Jake Wells; to his maternal grandparents, Ricky and Susan Ray, and his paternal grandfather, Don Ingram; to his stepfather, Chip Wells; to his aunts and uncles, Keri and Coby Rapier, Sherri and Tommy Ray, and Melissa Ingram; to his cousin, Chase Harton; and to all others who mourn his passing; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Garrett Ingram.
