| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The service of an admired Pecos County official drew |

| 6 | 6 | | to a close when Merejildo Dominguez III retired as constable on |

| 7 | 7 | | December 31, 2022; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Dominguez served |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | his fellow citizens with distinction, ably meeting the myriad |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | responsibilities of his office; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Through his dedication and commitment to good |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | governance, Merejildo Dominguez III has helped make Pecos County an |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | even better place in which to live and work, and he has set a |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | standard of excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | be it |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 17 | 17 | | Legislature hereby commend Merejildo Dominguez III for his service |

| 18 | 18 | | as a Pecos County constable and extend to him sincere best wishes |

| 19 | 19 | | for the future; and, be it further |
