H.R. No. 381
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Pecos County official drew
to a close when Merejildo Dominguez III retired as constable on
December 31, 2022; and
WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Dominguez served
his fellow citizens with distinction, ably meeting the myriad
responsibilities of his office; and
WHEREAS, Through his dedication and commitment to good
governance, Merejildo Dominguez III has helped make Pecos County an
even better place in which to live and work, and he has set a
standard of excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Merejildo Dominguez III for his service
as a Pecos County constable and extend to him sincere best wishes
for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Dominguez as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
