H.R. No. 396
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Real County official drew
to a close when Mairi Gray retired as county treasurer on December
31, 2022; and
WHEREAS, First taking office on November 29, 2011, Ms. Gray
served her fellow citizens with distinction throughout her notable
11-year tenure; and
WHEREAS, Through her dedicated leadership and commitment to
good governance, Mairi Gray has helped make Real County an even
better place in which to live and work, and she has set a standard of
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Mairi Gray for her service as Real
County treasurer and extend to her sincere best wishes for the
future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Gray as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
