5	5	WHEREAS, Mujeres Cycling in San Antonio is being honored on
6	6	March 14, 2023, in recognition of the first anniversary of the
7	7	organization's founding; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Established in January 2022, Mujeres Cycling is a
9	9	female-only training club that provides support for its members,
10	10	helping to improve their skills, strength, and endurance, while
11	11	also encouraging camaraderie and mentorship; and
12	12	WHEREAS, The group holds weekly social and training rides in
13	13	San Antonio and across the surrounding area; the rides are open to
14	14	individuals of all levels, and Mujeres Cycling often partners with
15	15	other women's bicycling clubs to coordinate events; and
16	16	WHEREAS, Through its exemplary work, Mujeres Cycling is
17	17	building a supportive and welcoming community for women cyclists,
18	18	and it is a pleasure to join in recognizing the group for its many
19	19	contributions; now, therefore, be it
20	20	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
21	21	Legislature hereby commemorate the first anniversary of Mujeres
22	22	Cycling and extend to its members sincere best wishes for the
23	23	future; and, be it further
24	24	RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be prepared for the
25	25	club as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of
26	26	Representatives.
