| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Competing in a field of more than 2,000 exhibitors |

| 9 | 9 | | in the Agricultural Mechanics Project Show, Anahuac team members |

| 10 | 10 | | John Wayne Ashley, Gabriel Munoz, R. C. Hues, and Jacob Abernathy |

| 11 | 11 | | were honored with the Showmanship Grand Champion award; over the |

| 12 | 12 | | course of the day, the quartet spent some 12 hours presenting and |

| 13 | 13 | | describing their work in detail to judges and the public; and |

| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The Anahuac squad additionally placed fourth in its |

| 15 | 15 | | class as part of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Agricultural |

| 16 | 16 | | Mechanics Project Show; and |

| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Demonstrating outstanding talent, hard work, and |

| 18 | 18 | | dedication, the members of the Anahuac agricultural mechanics team |

| 19 | 19 | | have brought great pride to their school and to their many |

| 20 | 20 | | supporters in the community, and their accomplishments indeed merit |

| 21 | 21 | | special recognition; now, therefore, be it |

| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 23 | 23 | | Legislature hereby congratulate the Anahuac ISD FFA Agricultural |
