| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |

| 6 | 6 | | mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Adalberto and Olga |

| 7 | 7 | | Salazar of Mission celebrated this joyous milestone in their |

| 8 | 8 | | marriage on November 18, 2022; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Salazar were joined in matrimony in |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | 1972 at the Mission Community Center; over the years, they have been |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | blessed with a treasured family that includes their three children |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | and seven grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Born and raised in Sullivan City, Mr. Salazar |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | graduated from La Joya High School, and Mrs. Salazar attended |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Mission High School in her beloved hometown; the couple have lived |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | in Mission since their wedding day; now retired, they take pleasure |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | in playing bingo with other members of the community; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Salazar have enjoyed five decades of |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 23 | 23 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Adalberto and Olga Salazar on their |

| 24 | 24 | | 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
