H.R. No. 68
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Adalberto and Olga
Salazar of Mission celebrated this joyous milestone in their
marriage on November 18, 2022; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Salazar were joined in matrimony in
1972 at the Mission Community Center; over the years, they have been
blessed with a treasured family that includes their three children
and seven grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Born and raised in Sullivan City, Mr. Salazar
graduated from La Joya High School, and Mrs. Salazar attended
Mission High School in her beloved hometown; the couple have lived
in Mission since their wedding day; now retired, they take pleasure
in playing bingo with other members of the community; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Salazar have enjoyed five decades of
abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
commitment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Adalberto and Olga Salazar on their
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Salazar as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
