R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Darlene Hernandez has earned great distinction with
her outstanding service as principal of H. D. Hilley Elementary
School in the Socorro Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the
students, faculty, and staff of H. D. Hilley Elementary School,
Ms. Hernandez has led the way in fostering a supportive and
challenging educational environment on campus; and
WHEREAS, A quality education is critical to the continuing
vitality of our state, and Darlene Hernandez is playing an
instrumental role in helping students to reach their full potential
and become engaged and productive members of their community; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Darlene Hernandez for her contributions
as principal of H. D. Hilley Elementary School and extend to her
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Hernandez as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
