10 | 10 | | Arturo O'Farrill and The Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, featuring the |

11 | 11 | | Conga Patria Son Jarocho Collective; in addition, he received a |

12 | 12 | | second Grammy nomination in the Best Spoken Word Poetry Album |

13 | 13 | | category for Black Men Are Precious, an Ethelbert Miller album he |

23 | 23 | | honors as the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Book Award; he sits on |

26 | 26 | | and the James Madison Council of the Library of Congress; and |

27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Brinkley holds a bachelor's degree in U.S. |

29 | 29 | | diplomatic history at Georgetown University, where he earned his |

30 | 30 | | master's degree as well as his doctorate; he also spent a semester |

32 | 32 | | WHEREAS, Through his skill as a producer, Douglas Brinkley |

33 | 33 | | has made valuable contributions to the music industry, and he is |

34 | 34 | | indeed deserving of this most recent honor; now, therefore, be it |

35 | 35 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
