| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Jeanie Turk retired as the real estate broker of |

| 6 | 6 | | RE/MAX on the Water-Bolivar on March 29, 2023; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Turk is a founding partner of RE/MAX on the |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Water-Bolivar, where she held the role of broker for nearly 17 |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | years; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, In addition to her real estate career, Ms. Turk was |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | appointed by former Governor Bill Clements to a regional water |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | quality committee, and she chaired a congressionally funded |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | watershed study that played an instrumental role in revising flood |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | maps and improving drainage to prevent flooding; she is a former |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | member of the Hardin County Airport Board and the Hardin-Jefferson |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Independent School District School Board, and she was a campaign |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | spokesperson for President Ronald Reagan, as well as a delegate to |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | the Republican National Convention; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, With her dedication, professionalism, and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | commitment to excellence, Jeanie Turk has earned the respect and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | admiration of her colleagues and clients alike, and she may indeed |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | reflect with pride on her accomplishments as she begins the next |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | exciting chapter of her life; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Jeannie Turk on her retirement from |

| 26 | 26 | | RE/MAX on the Water-Bolivar and extend to her sincere best wishes |
