H.R. No. 954
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jeanie Turk retired as the real estate broker of
RE/MAX on the Water-Bolivar on March 29, 2023; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Turk is a founding partner of RE/MAX on the
Water-Bolivar, where she held the role of broker for nearly 17
years; and
WHEREAS, In addition to her real estate career, Ms. Turk was
appointed by former Governor Bill Clements to a regional water
quality committee, and she chaired a congressionally funded
watershed study that played an instrumental role in revising flood
maps and improving drainage to prevent flooding; she is a former
member of the Hardin County Airport Board and the Hardin-Jefferson
Independent School District School Board, and she was a campaign
spokesperson for President Ronald Reagan, as well as a delegate to
the Republican National Convention; and
WHEREAS, With her dedication, professionalism, and
commitment to excellence, Jeanie Turk has earned the respect and
admiration of her colleagues and clients alike, and she may indeed
reflect with pride on her accomplishments as she begins the next
exciting chapter of her life; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Jeannie Turk on her retirement from
RE/MAX on the Water-Bolivar and extend to her sincere best wishes
for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Turk as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
