| 7 | 7 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 8 | 8 | | SECTION 1. Section 623.382(a), Transportation Code, is |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | amended to read as follows: |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | (a) The commission may authorize the City of Laredo to issue |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | permits for the movement of oversize or overweight vehicles |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | carrying cargo in Webb County on the following roadways: |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | (1) Farm-to-Market Road 1472 between its intersection |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | with State Highway Loop 20 and the northernmost of its |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | intersections with World Trade Center Loop; |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (2) Farm-to-Market Road 1472 between the northernmost |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | of its intersections with World Trade Center Loop and its |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | intersection with State Highway 255 [Hachar Loop, if the Hachar |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Loop project in Webb County is constructed]; |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | (3) Hachar Loop between its intersection with |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Farm-to-Market Road 1472 and its intersection with Interstate |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Highway 35, if the Hachar Loop project in Webb County is |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | constructed; [and] |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | (4) Beltway Parkway between its intersection with |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Hachar Loop and its intersection with Interstate Highway 35, if the |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Hachar Loop project in Webb County is constructed; |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | (5) State Highway 255 between the Laredo-Colombia |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Solidarity International Bridge and its intersection with |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Interstate Highway 35; and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | (6) Farm-to-Market Road 3338 between its intersection |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | with State Highway 255 and its intersection with Farm-to-Market |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | Road 1472. |

| 33 | 33 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
