This bill would allow courts in making a determination when a child is placed or is referred to and awaiting placement in a residential treatment center to consider additional information, including psychological or psychiatric assessments and whether there are other programs that more effectively meet the child 's needs.It is assumed any costs to the Office of Court Administration, the Department of Family and Protective Services and the Health and Human Services Commission could be absorbed within existing resources.   Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
