| 8 | 8 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 9 | 9 | | SECTION 1. Section 25.027(b), Tax Code, is amended to read |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | as follows: |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | (b) Subsection (a)(1) does not apply to: |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | (1) an aerial photograph that depicts [five or] more |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | than one separately owned building; |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | (2) a street level photograph of only the exterior of a |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | building; or |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | (3) a field record or overhead sketch of the property |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | that depicts only: |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | (A) the outline of one or more buildings on the |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | property; |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | (B) the general landscape features of the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | property, including ponds, pools, and walls; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | (C) the dimensions of or distances between the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | buildings and features depicted [buildings]. |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Act takes effect September 1, 2023. |
