| 7 | 14 | | BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 8 | 15 | | SECTION 1. Section 49-g(g), Article III, Texas |

| 9 | 16 | | Constitution, is amended to read as follows: |

| 10 | 17 | | (g) During each fiscal biennium, the amount in the economic |

| 11 | 18 | | stabilization fund may not exceed an amount equal to 15 [10] percent |

| 12 | 19 | | of the total amount, excluding investment income, interest income, |

| 13 | 20 | | and amounts borrowed from special funds, deposited in general |

| 14 | 21 | | revenue during the preceding biennium. |

| 15 | 22 | | SECTION 2. This proposed constitutional amendment shall be |
