SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 16
WHEREAS, Timothy Neuman, the Medina County commissioner
for District 1, has graduated from the Commissioners Court
Leadership Academy; and
WHEREAS, Sponsored by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension
Service's V. G. Young Institute of County Government, the
Commissioners Court Leadership Academy is a two-year program for
county judges and commissioners; participants have the
opportunity to learn more about county government while
developing their leadership skills; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Tim Neuman was one of a select group
of applicants who were invited to the Commissioners Court
Leadership Academy, which involves a number of multiday sessions
held in Texas and Washington, D.C.; through his participation in
this prestigious program, he has become better prepared to take
on the challenges and opportunities of his office; and
WHEREAS, Tim Neuman has demonstrated an outstanding
commitment to serving the citizens of Medina County, and he is
indeed deserving of special recognition for his achievements;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate Commissioner
Timothy Neuman on his graduation from the Commissioners Court
Leadership Academy and extend to him sincere best wishes for
continued success in his important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for Commissioner Neuman as an expression of high regard
from the Texas Senate.
