SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 32
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Leonel Rodriguez on his outstanding service as a State
Farm agent for the past 45 years; and
WHEREAS, Leonel Rodriguez began his illustrious career
with State Farm in May of 1978 and has provided auto, home, life,
and health insurance policies to his many clients in the Rio
Grande Valley; and
WHEREAS, A native of the Valley, Leo is highly regarded by
his clients and colleagues for his commitment to protecting the
interests of others; Leo has built lasting relationships with his
clients, and he has distinguished himself in his agency by
qualifying for ambassador travel; and
WHEREAS, Admired for his spirit of generosity, Leo has
volunteered with a number of community organizations and serves
as a lector and Eucharistic minister at Holy Spirit Parish; a
devoted community advocate, Leo has served as the president of
volunteer councils for juvenile justice and has been a member of
the McAllen Chamber of Commerce and the Rio Grande Valley
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, Leo is a graduate of The University of Texas-Pan
American and a veteran of the United States Army National Guard;
in his 45-year career with State Farm, Leo has served his clients
with distinction, and he is truly deserving of special
recognition for achieving this important milestone in his
career; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 88th
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Leonel Rodriguez
on his faithful service to State Farm for the last 45 years; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
