| 7 | 7 | | took place in McAllen from October 3 through 5, 2023; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Presented by the Office of the Texas Governor, the |

| 9 | 9 | | Texas Best Awards recognize the top Crime Stoppers organizations |

| 10 | 10 | | from across the state; this year, Moore County Crime Stoppers was |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | honored in the categories of Most Cases Cleared for 2022 and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Greatest Dollar Recovery for 2022; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Moore County Crime Stoppers provides residents with |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | a secure and anonymous way to report criminal activity in their |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | area; the organization operates a hotline to field tips about |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | crimes, and a cash reward is paid out for information that leads to |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | an arrest; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Moore County Crime Stoppers has played an |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | instrumental role in ensuring the safety and well-being of area |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | citizens, and it is a pleasure to join in recognizing the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | organization for its invaluable contributions to the community; |

| 22 | 22 | | now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Moore County |
