| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Christy Lansford of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension |

| 7 | 7 | | Award from the Texas Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development |

| 8 | 8 | | Professionals at its annual conference in Kemah in August 2023; and |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, This prestigious award is given to agents with at |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | least two and less than seven years of service who have achieved |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | outstanding programming effectiveness and client engagement; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, A fitting recipient, Ms. Lansford has served as the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | agriculture and natural resources agent for McMullen County since |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | June 2019; during her exceptional tenure, she has helped the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | county's 4-H program to grow sixfold, providing even more students |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | with activities designed to foster leadership, citizenship, and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | responsibility; she has received numerous state 4-H accolades over |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | the years, including the Gold Clover, Excellence in Club Support, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | and Excellence in Ag Programming awards; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, In addition to her work with 4-H, Ms. Lansford has |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | given generously of her time and talents to the Tilden Livestock |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Scholarship Association, the Tilden Lions Club, the Fowlerton Water |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Supply Corporation, and St. Joseph's Catholic Church; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, The skill, professionalism, and commitment to |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | excellence demonstrated by Christy Lansford have made her an |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | important asset to the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | she is indeed deserving of this most recent honor; now, therefore, |
