| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, A standout football player at Lee High School, |

| 13 | 14 | | Tyrone Thurman finished his high school career with 1,984 rushing |

| 14 | 15 | | yards and 37 touchdowns, and he was integral to the Rebels squad |

| 15 | 16 | | that advanced to the state championship game during his junior |

| 16 | 17 | | season and the state quarterfinals the following year; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Thurman went on to excel at Texas Tech |

| 18 | 19 | | University as a return specialist and wide receiver, and he was also |

| 19 | 20 | | a member of the Red Raiders basketball team; he holds the school |
