 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Mitchell Ryan Payne, the beloved infant son of
 Steven Ryan and Stacey Leigh Payne, passed away on November 23,
 2023; and
 WHEREAS, Born in College Station on September 20, 2023,
 Mitchell was adored by a wide circle of loved ones, which included
 his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and
 WHEREAS, "Mitch," as he was affectionately known, delighted
 in cuddling, and he impressed his family with his ability to sleep
 through just about anything; during the few months he shared with
 them, he uplifted everyone around him with his irresistible smile
 and his sweet disposition; and
 WHEREAS, Although his days were far too few, Mitchell Payne
 was a ray of light in the lives of those who held him dear, and the
 memory of this beloved child will forever be carried in their
 hearts; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory
 of Mitchell Ryan Payne and extend deepest condolences to the
 members of his family: to his parents, Ryan and Stacey Payne; to his
 grandparents, John and Cheryl Lagrone and Steven and Kim Payne; to
 his great-grandmother, Alice Bell; to his aunts and uncles, Kelsey
 Moore and her husband, Jared, Kevin Lagrone and his wife,
 Katharine, Blake Payne and his wife, Rachel, and Joshua Payne and
 his wife, Lauren; to his cousins, Krisley and Truett Payne and
 McKenna and Cade Moore; and to his other relatives and all those who
 join in mourning his passing; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mitchell
 Ryan Payne.
