| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, The institution was established in 1998 with the |

| 8 | 8 | | mission to provide a high-quality education that fosters academic |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | excellence, character development, and community engagement; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Through the years, the dedicated educators, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | administrators, staff, and volunteers of Richard Milburn Academy |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | have worked tirelessly to create a supportive and nurturing |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | environment that instills in students a love for learning, that |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | encourages critical thinking, and that promotes values such as |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | respect, responsibility, and integrity; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, RMA's leadership has consistently demonstrated a |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | visionary approach to education that emphasizes the use of |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | innovative teaching methods and curriculum enhancements, with the |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | goal of preparing students for success in an ever-evolving world; |

| 20 | 20 | | in its efforts to help students achieve their greatest potential, |

| 21 | 21 | | the school also benefits from its strong partnerships with parents, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | guardians, and the community; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Since its inception, Richard Milburn Academy has had |

| 24 | 24 | | a profound impact on the educational landscape in the local |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | community and beyond, and its 25th anniversary provides a welcome |

| 26 | 26 | | opportunity to reflect on the school's growth and to celebrate the |

| 27 | 27 | | achievements of its students, faculty, alumni, and supporters; now, |

| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 30 | 30 | | Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby honor Richard Milburn |

| 31 | 31 | | Academy in Killeen on the occasion of its 25th anniversary and |

| 32 | 32 | | commend all those affiliated with the school for their commitment |

| 33 | 33 | | to enriching the lives of Texas students and fostering a brighter |
