| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 662, Government Code, is | |
| 12 | 12 | amended by adding Section 662.117 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 662.117. VETERANS MONTH. (a) November is Veterans | |
| 14 | 14 | Month to celebrate, honor, and memorialize the achievements and | |
| 15 | 15 | sacrifices of military veterans. | |
| 16 | 16 | (b) Veterans Month may be regularly observed through | |
| 17 | 17 | appropriate programs and activities to celebrate and honor members | |
| 18 | 18 | of the veteran community. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
