| 11 | 11 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 12 | 12 | | SECTION 1. Section 67.017, Election Code, is amended by |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows: |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | (a-1) The report of precinct results for a general election |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | shall include each candidate's percentage of the total number of |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | votes received by all candidates for each office. |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | SECTION 2. Section 68.004, Election Code, is amended by |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | adding Subsection (b-1) to read as follows: |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | (b-1) The periodic reports for a primary, runoff primary, or |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | general election shall include each candidate's percentage of the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | total number of votes received by all the candidates for the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | nomination or office, as applicable. |

| 23 | 23 | | SECTION 3. Section 68.005, Election Code, is amended by |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | adding Subsection (b-1) to read as follows: |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | (b-1) The final report for a primary, runoff primary, or |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | general election shall include each candidate's percentage of the |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | total number of votes received by all the candidates for the |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | nomination or office, as applicable. |

| 29 | 29 | | SECTION 4. Section 172.113, Election Code, is amended by |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows: |

| 31 | 31 | | (a-1) The unofficial tabulation of precinct results shall |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | include each candidate's percentage of the total number of votes |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | received by all the candidates for the nomination. |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | SECTION 5. Section 172.124(a), Election Code, is amended to |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | read as follows: |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | (a) For each primary election and any resulting runoff |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | election, the county clerk shall prepare a report of the number of |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | votes, including early voting votes, received in each county |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | election precinct by each candidate for nomination to a statewide |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | or district [an] office[, other than a party office,] as provided by |
|---|
| 41 | 41 | | Section 67.017 for the report of precinct results for a general |
|---|
| 42 | 42 | | election. |
|---|
| 43 | 43 | | SECTION 6. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
