| 12 | 12 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 13 | 13 | | SECTION 1. (a) Not later than November 30, 2025, the Texas |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Department of Transportation shall transfer the real property |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | described by Section 2 of this Act to the Texas Department of Public |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Safety, including the improvements affixed to the property. |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (b) The Texas Department of Transportation shall transfer |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | the property by an appropriate instrument of transfer that |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | describes the property to be transferred by metes and bounds. |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | (c) Chapter 202, Transportation Code, and Sections 31.1571, |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 31.158, and 31.159, Natural Resources Code, do not apply to the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | transfer of real property authorized by Subsection (a) of this |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | section. |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | SECTION 2. The real property to which Section 1 of this Act |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | applies is described as follows: |

| 26 | 26 | | The real property title to which is held by the Texas |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Department of Transportation consisting of the site of the Texas |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Department of Transportation maintenance barn and offices, |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | situated primarily at 715 Pine Street, Woodville, Tyler County, |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | Texas, constituting 3 acres of land and more particularly described |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | as A0657 J. Wheat Block 42 Tract 11 Acres 3.0000 by the Tyler County |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | Appraisal District records. |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
