| 12 | 12 | Code, is amended by adding Section 91.0551 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 91.0551. TOLL SERVICE FEES. (a) Subject to Subsection | |
| 14 | 14 | (b), a rental company may charge a renter a service fee for the use | |
| 15 | 15 | of a toll road in the rental vehicle that does not exceed $5 per day. | |
| 16 | 16 | (b) A fee charged under this section may not exceed the | |
| 17 | 17 | amount of the total tolls incurred during the term of the rental | |
| 18 | 18 | agreement. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
